La Lonja Marina: the perfect base for your port day

Cruise ships dock at Palma's terminals west of the city centre. From there, a taxi takes about 10 minutes to Muelle de la Lonja, where our catamarans are moored right on the seafront promenade.

After the tour, Palma Cathedral (La Seu) and the old town are a 5-minute walk away. You can easily combine a morning on the water with lunch, shopping or sightseeing before heading back to your ship.

✦Taxi and Uber drop-off on Passeig Sagrera, right next to the marina
✦5-minute walk to the cathedral and the old town
✦EMT bus lines stop directly at the marina

Plan your timing

Our rule of thumb from season planning: cruise passengers usually reach the marina about two hours after their ship arrives, and should be back on board about 1.5 hours before it leaves. Always check the all-aboard time in your ship's daily programme.

An example: a ship that docks at 08:00 and leaves at 18:00 fits the 10:30 morning tour comfortably. You are back at the marina at 14:30 and still have time for the old town.

What's included

Bring swimwear, a towel and sun protection, as towels are not provided. Beer, wine and spirits are available from the bar on board.

✦Welcome drink on arrival
✦Mallorcan tapas served on board
✦Water throughout the tour
✦SUP boards, snorkel gear and masks
✦Swimming stop in a sheltered bay
✦Skipper and hostess on every tour

FAQ

How far is La Lonja Marina from the Palma cruise terminal?

About 10 minutes by taxi. Ask the driver for "Muelle de la Lonja" or "Passeig Sagrera", where the drop-off point is right next to the marina. From there it is a 5-minute walk to the cathedral and the old town.

Will I be back on my ship in time?

The Small Group Tour lasts 4 hours and ends at La Lonja Marina. Plan to be back on board about 1.5 hours before your ship leaves, and check the all-aboard time in your daily programme. If your day in port is short, ask us about a private trip with a custom start time.

Which departure should I book?

Morning tours depart between 09:00 and 10:30, afternoon tours up to 15:30. Check the ship table on this page, or send us your ship and date on WhatsApp and we'll recommend the right departure.

Can I cancel if my plans change?

Yes. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, so we recommend travel insurance that covers activities.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Snorkel gear and SUP boards are on board, and drinks beyond those included are available from the bar.

Is the tour suitable for families and older passengers?

Children of all ages are welcome when accompanied by an adult. The catamaran is stable and spacious. Please let us know about any mobility needs when you book.

Do you sail in winter, when ships still call at Palma?

Yes. From November to March one catamaran sails. There is a shared tour from Wednesday to Saturday, 11:30 to 15:30, and on request a private 6-hour trip including the sunset every day.

Can our group from the ship book the whole boat?

Yes. A private charter takes up to 12 guests for 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours, from €1,300, and we set the start time around your ship's schedule.
